  • At each stage of human evolution there was a specific diet. When it changed, the blood mutated and a new group appeared. And that's why there is a basic set of products for each group.

It was first discovered after research on rhesus monkeys, which is why it got its name. The Rh factor can be positive and is referred to as (Rh+) or negative (Rh-). It indicates the presence or absence of an antigen (protein) located on the surface of red blood cells (erythrocytes).

However, in fact, the division of blood into only four groups is arbitrary - if we take into account all the properties of blood, there will be many more of them. D'Adamo ignores this fact.

In D'Adamo's famous book, the influence of the Rh factor is not mentioned at all. Since more than 80% of the world's population has a positive Rh factor, the diet is tailored specifically to these people.

Contraindications to the diet

Without prior consultation with your doctor, people with the following diseases are prohibited from following an independent diet:

  • diabetes mellitus;
  • chronic digestive problems;
  • hematopoietic disorder;
  • ARVI.
